Hand made, solid wooden furniture designed and made in Herefordshire by Timothy Hawkins, with his two skilled craftsmen. Tim offers a bespoke service, giving free designs and sketches and his showroom is well stocked with examples of his work available for sale. His company, 'Fine Furniture Ltd.' was set up in 1980 and from those early days Tim knew he wanted to make first class furniture, without compromise. Tim often creates pieces with contrasting woods or inlays using such timbers as oak; elm; maple; ash; black walnut, yew and purpleheart to name but a few!
Services
Whether you already know exactly what you would like to have made or you are looking for some ideas as a starting point, Tim's many years of experience will guide you smoothly through the commissioning process. You are welcome to start the ball rolling in any way you wish, whether by sending an email or by ringing or calling at the gallery to let us know what you have in mind - perhaps you would like to arrange an appointment with Tim, who will be delighted to create designs specifically for you.
Whatever the size or style of your reception rooms, Tim will be happy to offer unique designs to suit them. You may want something which will blend quietly with its surroundings, or conversely a 'statement piece' - one that will stand its ground in the context of Art whilst serving a functional, perhaps secret purpose.
Whether you are looking for casual or formal, sharp contemporary; traditional or country-style furniture for your kitchen or dining room, Tim will come up with designs to suit your lifestyle. Your table can be super-sized or small, circular, D-ended, square, rectangular etc. - whatever you're looking for, he will be delighted to conjure up the ideal table for you.
A bedroom is more than just a place to sleep - it is where many of us choose to relax either side of our dreams. Perhaps you like to read or listen to music here, or maybe just think quietly about the events of today and plans for tomorrow. You'll certainly spend many hours in this room, whether awake or asleep and with mattresses now available in so many different sizes, isn't it good to know that your bed can be designed to please you?
