My experience echoes everybody else's. Bed frame due to be delivered on 18 March, no delivery, no communication. Still no bed frame & communication with the Internet sales team & customer services has been appalling. Finally received a reply today. Bed frame to be delivered on 8 July - 17 weeks after original delivery date. No offer of compensation or a proper apology has been received. Just a standard jargon email. Would not recommend. Very disappointed

Unfortunately I have to join the 1 start reviews. If I could I would give minus score. We had today failed delivery of our new bed and mattress after waiting 6 weeks for delivery. Just last night we received email saying frame is not available and wont be delivered, no phone call at all. Just email night before. Email stated rest of the order will be delivered. it was followed with another email today 10am that mattress is also not available so wont be delivered.
In both cases we have been informed that customer service will notify us about new delivery date within 24hrs. We had a call stating pillows will arrive, unfortunately nobody came and we have nothing. Customer service is not able to confirm anything. reading all previous reviews I don't think we have any choice but cancel the order in the store. I regret not reading the reviews before.

If I could give no stars I would. Diabolical customer service. Their drivers have delivered our 2 x mattress protectors to the wrong address. Almost 2 months later, I am no nearer receiving them. It take ages to get through to them on the phone (its best to use their ring back service) and although very amiable, their staff cannot provide any further information.
So you are stuck in a constant cycle of ringing them for information. I wish I had never set foot in their door and suggest to anyone that reads this review to think very carefully before giving Bensons any of your hard earned cash.

Bed frame and mattress ordered back in January. Delivery was due on 26.4.22. They called for the remainder of the payment week before, couldn't get hold on to us, then we don't have the card on us. They threatened to cancel the order. Anyway full payment was made, day before the delivery they message us saying your mattress isn't coming we will contact you in 24 hours to confirm a date for mattress delivery.
Bed frame was delivered. we had a message saying our new delivery date for mattress is 9.6.22. Customer service is awful and unable to help (can't wait to get you off the phone) no alternative solutions being offered to solve this issue. Branch is unable to offer solution. Reading quite a lot recent reviews, I wouldn't buy anything from bensons and beds as their way of handling this is horrendous. We regret our choice of the company. I left a review on Trustpilot but looks like your paid and fake 5 start reviews are bombarding to cover genuine reviews like me.

Unfortunately i am another person joining the 1 star rating. Great experience in the store, the sales woman was very nice. But it went down hill from there. Ordered my bed to be delivered in 6 weeks time. The night befor its due to be delivered i get an email, not a call, saying theres been an operational issue and can't make delivery. Then when i contacted the store they told me its more than likely that the bed has been lost.
They told me when the system updates the next day they will call me with more information. Well. No phone call. So after reading all the previous reviews about how hard it is to get hold of customer service i thought i will go to the store and cancel my order in person and demand my money back, the staff were very helpful to be honest and i got the feeling this wasnt the first time this has happened. I thought after all they were quick enough to take my 1000 they can give it back. This seemed to of worked so hopefully a full refund in 5-7 days.

The customer service was okay, as the member of staff who helped my parents buy their mattress, understood their needs and gave them the right advice. Unfortunately, when they received the firm mattress which they had tested at the shop, and were satisfied with, the actual mattress that arrived had the firm label, but in fact was not. From day one they have had to put flat pillows in the dips that were in the so called NEW mattress.
So my father called customer service and was told that he was not happy with the mattress and was told he would have to use it for 40 days and then he could have it changed. I, However, spoke to a different sales person at the shop and asked of she could guide me in how 'I could register that they had been delivered a faulty mattress and she was adamant on the fact that as my parents bed base was over 10 years old, it may be the reason for the dips.
I agreed that may be the case and mentioned that I would look into it, but there was nothing she could guide me on how to make this complaint and was only insistent that the base was the issue. I checked the base and it has a 4 inch wooded base which I stood on (And I'm not exactly light) and this base stood its ground. They have ordered a new mattress now, and it was supposed to be delivered on the 23 or 24 March.
The delivery men arrived WITHOUT the mattress, (as they had forgotten it) but told my dad that they would take the old one away. Obviously my dad did not agree to this as what were they supposed to sleep on meanwhile and so another date was set for delivery. April 6th again the mattress was apparently supposed to be delivered and again my parents were up waiting from 7am.
By 3pm no message and no callas to when they would come. When my father called up customer service, after an hour's wait, he was told that the delivery men had knocked on their door and no one answered so that is why the mattress could not be delivered? My parents live in flats, in the instructions for delivery, it was clearly stated that 'please call when you arrive' as they would be let in by my Dad who would take them in through the back door as it was easier to get the mattress through.
There was no phone call, no call on the intercom of the building that someone had rung the bell. So did the delivery men ACTUALLY go to the right house? Or did they FORGET AGAIN? This is the worst deliver system I have seen and no one wants to take responsibility. Two old-aged pensioners, tried to buy a decent mattress and have been messed around with for the last 6 months.
One more thing, don't bother calling customer service as there is over an hour's wait on the lines and there is no option for call back every time you call. If you are lucky to get that option, there is no call back so don't bother.

Ordering process was easy and bed came on the right day however, one wheel was snapped. A replacement was said to be on the way yet over a month later nothing. The delivery drivers also managed to snap the fairy lights which were stapled to the wall. No apology or anything and not really sure show they managed it but they obviously were not taking much care. Would not use them again.

Still waiting for my wardrobe to be fixed. Terrible customer service They take your money and then leave you high and dry Customer service, what Customer service? Servico recommendation from Bensons. Do not touch them with a Barge Pole! Angry, upset, frustrated - sooo annoyed that nobody gives a damn!

From the minute I walked into the branch in staples corner I was harrased and found the staff totally un-proffesional and borderline sleazy. I'm here to buy a bed not be talk about my plans on the weekend. Total nonsense and a waste of my time. Not to mention one minute the bed is 100 off the next day I check online it's full price?.
