Fitted Carpets became the norm and Fitted Kitchens soon became fashionable with a Formica topped work surface that ran the whole length of the walls. The Fitted Bedroom arrived shortly after and hard on its heels, with the invention of the home computer and a lifestyle of working from home, the demand for bespoke fitted home office furniture was born.
At Conquest, we've been designing and handcrafting fine fitted furniture here in Hampshire for over fifty years. We are the UK's leading bespoke fitted furniture company. When John Adey established Conquest more than fifty years ago he founded it on three principles and we have never departed from them.

We had a kitchen fitted 16 years ago it still looks as good as it did when it was first installed by the conquest team. The thing with conquest is this you get what you pay for and the after sales care is immense and second to no other. Over this time I have has just one hinge break down and recently a cupboard closing magnet both times a replacement was sent and an offer for a fitter to come and fit it for me.
There are a lot of kitchen/bedroom suppliers and fitters out there as we know. We are a building company and have recommended without hesitation to our customers conquest but the most chose other suppliers and fitters because they were cheeper. They have nearly all had complaints within 18 months of installation with no after care. Once again you get what you pay for and a kitchen/bedroom fitted furniture can last a life time if done right the first time.

Amazing kitchens and great after sale service. I dealt with Simon - Ops Manager with some after after care enquiries and he is extremely helpful and very professional. They offer a genuine 360 service across quotation, installation and after care service in conjunction with a top end product. Would highly recommend if you want a stunning kitchen.

I wanted bespoke wall units and a desk in my sitting room as part of a complete house refurbishment. I knew what I wanted and when I wanted it to suit my overall programme but had numerous reservations before I contacted Conquest. Their service was excellent, they quickly converted my ideas into a workable scheme addressed all my concerns in a practical manner and agreed the installation date.
The installers came punctually on the due date. They knew exactly what was required and efficiently and competently fitted my furniture. They also willingly help me set my television and high-fi into the wall units and computer onto the desk with all wires discretely hidden but accessible. I am delighted with the quality of the finished product and would recommend Conquest to anyone thinking of buying bespoke furniture.

Fantastic from start to finish! Designer was very professional and competent. Fitters were excellent, polite and very tidy. Came on the day they promised and finished ahead of schedule! We visited the show room and toured the workshops - brilliant family business - highly recommend. I am on sons site as I am low tech BUT wanted to say how pleased we are with the bedroom furniture.
