Everybody ask for Tony at the Maidstone branch, he is a gentleman and absolutely knew his stuff- if he didn't know he did his upmost to find out for us, He added the personal touch to our experience- We ended up spending more- and happy to do so- under his expertise. Tony thankyou- looking forward to our purchases

Went for first time in years recently. Wish I hadn't. Really do. Planned to look at sofas for my son and myself, a bed for my aging mother and more. Parked up, walked to a shop 3 doors down to get a bottle of water as I suffer from a dry throat and then went into store. My car received a parking ticket in their car park by UKParking Control Ltd., stating that as I had left the grounds of there premises it was able to charge me 60 for going to their store.
I approached all of the staff to ask for confirmation that I had been in the store getting prices and all refused to even offer a compliment slip as proof. Out of their hands they said, nothing to do with them. Well I am writing to the shareholders of this company to make them aware of my experience at the store they own part of. As a business owner myself I can see that parking could be abused at that location, but the path the management has taken is extreme.
Simple gates opened and closed during opening hours would solve most of the problem. For the whole management to take no responsibility for incorrect ticketing is poor management and a total lack of customer care. So my advise is DO NOT PARK AT CLARKE.

Purchased a lovely sofa from Clarkes which we are delighted with. The quality and style are gorgeous. We also received excellent customer service right from purchasing the sofa right through to delivery. Very pleasant staff indeed. The delivery men were very respectful of our property and extremely careful and cautious. I have recommended this store to family and friends. It has been an absolute delight dealing with such a professional store with very well mannered staff.
