Such helpful people. Every carpet in the house was bought in Hatters as well as some furniture. Their customer service is as good today as it was 30 years ago.

We ordered a bed in July 2021 and are yet to receive it (now March '22) Whilst we understand there have been difficulties, communication has been poor with limited updates and explanations which have only occurred when we have contacted them.

This was my first visit to this store and I was very impressed. Quality merchandise and knowledgeable, polit, non-pushy sales staff made my 2 hours shopping ordeal positively pleasurable. ( I don't like shopping)

Unfortunately I was delivered a table and chairs but the chairs that arrived were the wrong colour and don't match the table like the ones I ordered! They are a completely different colour. So, I rang up and asked if I could have the grey ones I need from the store (they are literally sitting in there!) instead to go with the grey table I ordered.

I was told this was out of the question and I will need to wait until the grey chairs arrive from abroad. I ordered this table and chairs for Christmas and so I now have an unmatching pair. I have just been told that this is 'human error' which I understand but I think it would be reasonable to let me have the grey chairs from the store as they are literally sitting in there. Given the amount I paid for this furniture I think it would be fair! When I made this point it was as if I was being told off for making a reasonable suggestion.

We like shopping here. The staff are friendly, polite and can't do enough for you. The quality of the goods is excellent, and we come here when we're looking for good quality items.

We visited Hatters on Sunday out of desperation, as a friend had recommended this store, they had purchased furniture there and were really pleased. We had ordered a new suite at another store 7 months ago and have been let down with delivery 5 times with no notice, leaving us sitting on fishing chairs for the last 3 months, and no end in sight. My wife is 70 years old and suffers with chronic Fibromyalgia, so you can imagine how let down we felt by this other store.

I won't say who they are because it would embarrass Oak Furnitureland! So I have now cancelled that order. Just waiting for a refund as they had made us pay in full when ordering. Anyway we were really impressed with the outstanding choice available and the really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, who were always available to help, but not in your face like a lot of stores, although we have to wait another 3 months or so for the suite that we have ordered, we don't mind, as we have every confidence that we will not be let down, and only had to leave a deposit, not pay in full with the order. Thank you for a wonderful shopping experience.

I have tried several of the mattresses available on line promising wonderful things but I just couldn't get on with them. Decided to do the traditional thing for mattress shopping by going to the shop and lying on them! The lady in Hatters was fantastic. She gave us time to wander then helped us find exactly what I was looking for in a mattress for my bed frame, that suited me by trying them out, a little bit softer, a bit more supportive, etc a real Goldilocks experience!

The chosen mattress was a good mid range price but as it happened the bed frame was on clearance so I got a whole new bed for a fraction more! Would highly recommend Hatters. Prices are comparable to the on line mattresses that are heavily marketed but I know I have a superior British product.

Friendly professional staff, excellent selection of all types of suites. Perfect solution found for what we were looking for. Honest delivery times managed our expectation. Free loan furniture turned up exactly as promised. Everything Sue has advised of so far has been spot on - top class sales person!

Absolutely delighted with our new Karndean floor and carpet inset. Scott the fitter is a perfectionist and did an excellent job. Really hard working, with super clean and tidy work. These guys have been around for years and years and the customer service has always been amazing! I recently purchased a new bedroom suite and can't thank the professional ladies in the bedding department enough. 5 star service.

My hubby and I were looking for a couple of sofas. Was approached by an assistant who was very helpful and knowledgeable about his stock. He left us to browse the shop with ease, no pushiness. We decided on a particular style and purchased our sofas with him. Was a very relaxing experience.
