Was looking for a sofa, service was excellent, staff helped me find the perfect fit for my needs. Delivery was smooth and on time. All in all perfect.

Waited 13 weeks - with no voluntary updates from Darlington, when it did arrive the fabric and colour was the worst kind that should have been used and really looked its worst on the poor frame design of the sofa bed. The seat cushions were ill fitting, arm rests so low, they offered no comfort and the back 'board' like rest was low and thin. We sweated the costs for it to be returned and took what refund was contracted I was meant to be delivered for Christmas, with plenty of ordering time, it did not arrive

Awful service, the staff are rude and incompetent. They never communicate and my sofa was hugely delayed to no apologies or explanation. I had to repeatedly chase to find out what was going on, when I am the customer. Their delivery partner atlas was also a pile of rubbish and rather than liasing just informed me what date and time I HAD to be home, if I wanted to change times then pay a fee (on top of mandatory 75 already) Spend your money at DFS it's better than this. Never again supporting independents

Awful customer care after sale. They got my order totally wrong - end up with two pieces of furniture with different fabrics (when they were supposed to be in the same fabric). They have had my monies since December and waited 12 weeks for the furniture. They are now refusing to offer me a gesture of goodwill until I have received the full correct order which I am having to wait over 6 weeks for (as they first needed to figure what fabric to use). From start to finish I would have waited over 6 months!

Afraid I wouldn't recommend Darling's of Chelsea to anyone. When I first went to their showroom, the lady couldn't get the sofa bed open or shut and didn't know anything about the product. We managed to work it out ourselves, and ordered online. I ordered the sofa bed in September, which was shown as 6-8 weeks delivery for 75. Twice it was delayed, then it was promised by end of year, yet again it was delayed.

Then it was promised by end of January. I was offered 35 off, which wasn't even 5% of total spend, or free insurance. I took the free insurance, but it wasn't something I would've paid for anyway so it didn't feel truly valuable or a big enough apology for the delay. Eventually, after many emails and phone calls chasing, I was given a delivery date of February.

I made it clear I was not paying 75 for a 4 month delivery, which was refused by Darlings of Chelsea. Therefore, I cancelled my order. Through all of this their website and social media still claimed to offer 6-8 week delivery, when I was told it was affecting a lot of orders.

I'm sure it will be a lovely sofa when it arrives, but I've just chased and have found put that (without any communication from darlings) that it wont arrive for another 7 weeks beyond their estimated delivery date. I think that's pretty shocking but would be less bothered if darlings had made any effort at all to let me know or to apologise for the delay.

Only when I have called have I seen any type of apology and always qualified with a 'it's not in our control it's our supplier'. Wrong. You are 100 % in control of your communication with me and could have at least let me know once the problem was established. A 7 week delay is more than 'we are quite busy and have a bit of a back log' you took the full amount of my money in early august - bear some responsibility for your failure.

Met a nice chap called Alexander, very welcoming and super friendly. Answered all my questions and gave quality advice on fabrics and access. Will come here again!

My partner saw the Kingston on the Darlings website and we went to see it in store a few months back, we were greeted on arrival and the team were just around the corner incase we needed any help. We ended up ordering over the phone after going away to have a think but I was really impressed with their product knowledge. We were advised there may be some delays due to the on-going pandemic but we were kept in the loop which we really appreciated. Sofa has recently turned up and it's brilliant, even better than we had anticipated. Also, a big thank you to Martyn who helped us along the way - great service!

Like Sophie below, I've had an awful experience of Darlings in terms of their delivery schedules. They promised me between 8 - 10 weeks for delivery. That was in September. In November I was told it'd now be 2 more weeks to wait - then in December another couple of weeks. As we were entertaining at Christmas, I called 2 weeks ago and asked them straight: is the sofa going to be there or not - if not I need to know now so that I'm not humiliated by changing plans late?

They said it definetely would be there. Today, I'm going to get the sofas in the New Year. Of course they used COVID lockdown as an excuse. But the reality is that the manufacture of the sofas was 4 weeks (at least) behind schedule NOT during lockdown. They should have been completed by the time another lockdown was imposed with time to spare. Effectively they have overpromised and underdelivered, and hence spoiled our Christmas. And, not a hint of a formal apology from any of them. Disgraceful. Nice sofas, awful delivery service. If you can possibly avoid them, my advice would be to do so.

Would be a great sofa but has arrived with 4 out of the 8 legs. Initially told they would be sent to me immediately. Then as a matter of urgency and now (days later) they aren't responding to my emails and I have no date of delivery of the legs. Pretty poor customer service.

I had no idea about what kind of sofa I wanted for our home. Until I walked into Darlings of Chelsea I realized there are so many great options out there. Emily was fantastic, and in the end advised us the best sofa for our family and the result is simply beautiful. Great quality sofas and the personalized service is gold class.

Great service and beautiful products. The new showroom has a wonderful look and feel. I popped in for a quick mid week visit and spent awhile looking at fabrics with Angela. All the staff are very helpful and I cannot wait for my sofa to arrive.

I saw the Dulwich sofa online and decided to pop into the shop to try it. The sales rep was very nice and helped me find the right fabric and updated me regularly throughout the order process. The sofa arrived on time and it's so comfortable and great quality.
