We bought two bedside cabinets from Barretts and they were totally honest about delivery time, kept us informed, the price was very competitive, but I felt the personal service was worth quite a lot, everyone in the shop is really friendly, helpful and patient ( we take forever to make up our minds)and we visited the shop several times before we ordered.

Delivery was at a time of our choice, the men that delivered were helpful and professional. I would definitely use Barretts again, their staff go the extra mile, unlike the larger stores where you search for someone who, when found, has no product knowledge.

From the start Gary and Ben have been of utmost help going the extra mile to assist me in buying a bed and sharing their knowledge along the way. This was refreshing given a bad experience with a much larger bed company in Ipswich. The delivery drivers were also great and nothing was too much bother for anyone. I would highly recommend Barratts when needing a new bed. Thank you and very much appreciated.

Very helpful men who also replaced some items that had to be moved to facilitate placing the VERY high bed!. The beds looked all the same height in the showroom and very high in the bedroom. I'll get used to it. All new bed-linen from your department is excellent. Many thanks.

Recently bought some bedroom furniture from Barrett's - The delivery people were fantastic, they brought it into the house making it look so easy, - we were to find out how heavy the furniture was when we moved it ourselves - They also unwrapped and removed all the packaging. I choose the morning dew colour with the light wood tops and they compliment the room beautifully, as l mentioned they furniture is heavy, solid and extremely well made.

The overall service has been very smooth all went to plan. The service at Barrett's is excellent from the sales team and as l've mentioned to the delivery team. I find it's the place to go for quality and good service.

Excellent service as usual. We had a bedroom carpet fitted this morning. The workmen arrived promptly and in no time had laid the underlay and carpet. The order process and fitting was very efficient and much faster than I had anticipated. Thank you Barrett's.

I am very happy with the new bed from Barretts and appreciated being given good advice about my choice with plenty of unhurried time to try out various options. Everyone is extremely helpful and courteous. There is a most congenial atmosphere in the shop. It is a pleasure to do business there.

Excellent service in shop and advice given regarding choices available. Measuring service was also excellent and the carpet fitter was brilliant - especially since it was the day y of storm Eunice and he could easily have not attended. He was efficient, very high quality and very tidy!

Great! V pleased. When we purchased the furniture, the sales man made it clear we might not get it before Christmas due to current supply probs, but in the end we received it well before, which was v nice (and much better than being promised it in time and then the stuff not coming til Jan.). Furniture is excellent quality and colour just as shown in brochure.

We haven't stopped opening & shutting the smooth drawers just for the novelty. Delivery chaps were fine - a lot of huffing & puffing getting it up the difficult stairs, but all achieved without any damage, and packaging removed neatly.

A really lovely little shop with lots of little festive pieces for the home. The selection of bedding and homewear is really nice - good for gift buying. Very nice Christmas decorations section also.

The communication from start to finish has been excellent. The problem which I experienced was NOT of Barretts making - however they dealt with it in a professional & friendly manner. Overall excellent! The pictures demonstrate the problem which they managed

We ordered some flooring for our kitchen from Barretts and found the while experience very good. We were having trouble getting someone and Barretts came up trumps. From the moment we entered the store to the fitting. Colin was extremely helpful in the shop and Loryck was an amazing fitter. Would definitely use them again. Good quality flooring too.

I was after a particular chair and was able to purchase it from Barretts of Woodbridge. I visited the store early July and ordered the chair. My interactions with all of the staff at the store was excellent. The service provided was second to none and they were efficient and courteous during all communications. I would recommend this store and their staff.

Exceptional friendly service. Barretts came recommended to me through a friend and I was not disappointed. The shop itself is an Aladdin's cave, and I managed to try out the mattress I eventually bought and a special pillow - Ben, the chap who served me was really patient and helpful as I hopped from one mattress to the other. You cannot beat good old fashioned 1-2-1 shopping, especially for something as important as a mattress, which I need to give me proper support. I would not hesitate to pass on my recommendation too.

I purchased a Hypnos mattress. The service was good, I was given a predicted date for delivery but this was dependent upon the manufacturer, that was accepted. There was an inevitable delay during the summer of 2021. I would therefore have liked to have been updated by the store by email. I contacted the store and they provided an alternative date a short period after the original date. The delivery was effective, efficient and accommodating. The product was very well packaged and protected. Thank you.

Three times I've tried to shop at Barratts three times the service has been shocking, rude patronising staff who clearly have their "favourite " customers, never ever again would I order anything from this shop and would not advise anyone else to either, very upsetting and unpleasant experience, complete chaos no management or customer service at all

Fantastic service from the moment I entered the shop until the moment the delivery team left my home. The professional sales advice was based on customer satisfaction and not 'pressure to buy' tactics. I was lent fabric examples and given all the information I need to make an informed decision. I was kept abreast of all potential 'Covid 19' delays with the actual delivery coming in a week early.

The delivery team were helpful and accommodating and the furniture arrived with quilted covers on and no factory packaging to discard of. The whole shopping experience deserves 10/10.

We would not recommend Barretts. In the advertising they say customer service is really important to them. That is really not the case. We purchased a sofa from Barretts last year which was faulty. It took six months of our continual chasing and phoning before the situation was rectified. Despite two visits from the floor manager we had no. contact from Barretts management.

We wrote a letter of complaint to which we had no response. We phoned and I called into the shop, to be told each time that the manager/owner would get back to us and the letter would be put before them. After months we have still had no acknowledgement or response to our letter. An acknowledgement at least would have sufficed but to ignore it is shocking. To say customer service is important to them is blatantly untrue. We would definitely not recommend Barretts.

I ordered some material for new cushions. The Barrett's team were really helpful and professional. A quick delivery and great product. Will definitely use them again 5 stars.

I've regularly purchased my linens, candles, gifts and other soft furnishings from Barretts. I've always found their customer care to be first class. The team are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I'd highly recommend them! 5*

We purchased 3 Alston sofas from Barrett's and were thoroughly impressed with the customer service provided. Timely, efficient and very conscientious staff delivered all the way to our site at Lincolnshire with no hesitation. Their family orientated ethos is admirable. Each time I have visited their store I have been greeted by friendly staff who are attentive and diligent with great product knowledge. Brilliant to see such expertise in multiple departments from an independent highstreet store. 5* - would recommend.

A few years ago I wouldn't have hesitated to give them 5 stars. We've bought all our carpets from them but our stair carpet has started to badly wear after 6 years. That's a long time you might say, but there are only two of us in the house and previous carpets have been much better. This was an expensive carpet and we thought it was covered by a. 10 year warranty. Turns out it wasn't, nobody who sold it to us are left and Barretts simply referred us to the manufacturers - no attempt to help valued customers or offer any help. We've decided to shop elsewhere.

I moved to Woodbridge in 1983 and have bought carpets, curtains and furniture at Barretts since then BUT my latest experience was AWFUL. Very expensive curtains poorly made. I agree most staff at Barretts are excellent but one is less than helpful to say the least. Ms Barrett is too busy to investigate. John Lewis here I come.

What a great experience it has been dealing with Barrett's of Woodbridge, excellent, staff first class service and we have already recommended our friends to them. Well done Barrett's.
