Thank you to Raj and all his staff for their excellent service from start to finish. Our new suite is lovely, well made and there was no pressure from Raj at all. The whole process ran smoothly from start to finish, we were kept informed of everything, and the delivery was faultless. We would highly recommend Raj Upholstery and would not hesitate to buy from them again. Great company.

We needed a new mattress Mr Raj showed us a number and told us the prices no pressure to buy the price was right. Delivery within 40 minutes of ordering great service.

Bought suite from Raj only had it 2 years stitching coming away payed 1450 for it material not good been InTouch with him quiet few times sent pics never got back to use dam right rude of him not happy

We had our two sofas recovered by Raj and his team of craftsmen and we can't recommend them highly enough. Everything went smoothly from start to finish and Raj even lent us two sofas while they worked on ours. It is a first class job. We had a footstool made to match and we had a surprise of four matching scatter cushions as well. Very, very professional team with a great attention to detail

If I could give a 0 star rating review, I would. Raj promised the world and massively under delivered. We traveled 30 mins to get to his workshop, on the back of a positive recommendation from our neighbour. We told him exactly what we wanted and he said he could do it for us. We ordered a custom made L Shape Sofabed, with a thick mattress (which he showed us) and with a foot stool.

Delivery drivers come and they deliver the sofa bed and show us how to get it out etc, also with a stained pillow and no footstool? so I question the drivers and they say they haven't got on on their itinerary? I ring Raj and he says "the drivers must have it", but it turns out they don't. A few days goes by and we ring up again to find out when it's going to be delivered, Raj then says "you didn't order one" oh right so which one is it?

Have the drivers forgotten it or have we not ordered it?! The mattress was thin so we complained about that, he sent another one with his drivers and a footstool but we still weren't happy with his communication - or lack of it. When we spoke to him on the phone he constantly talked over us, raised his voice and kept putting the phone down and just didn't know how to speak to customers. I'd avoid this place at ALL costs - what a con man this guy is.

Excellent service, fabulous choice. Raj & his staff are highly professional, knowledgeable & were keen to make sure I made the right choice. I'm delighted with my sofas. I highly recommend a visit!

Went into Raj as I needed one corner chair or tub chair in a specific colour. Raj took me straight to what I was looking for, helped me make the choice and packed it into the car. He was so lovely and professional. The chair is perfect and is made to a high standard; really good quality. I always prefer to shop local if I can, rather than the high street. Well worth a visit. Highly recommend Raj.

Raj made us two bespoke settees to our size, style & material to a very high standard. Excellent service, he even checked that the frame of the large settee would fit into the house before continuing to cover the frame. We are absolutely delighted.

Over the past few years, we have bought several sofas and a bed-settee from Raj Upholstery. The quality of the furniture and the service given is excellent, and we have always been happy to deal with Raj, who is a very pleasant, patient and helpful gentleman. The showroom displays a wide variety of furniture at a reasonable price, and the great thing about this business is that because most of the furniture in manufactured by Raj Upholstery, the customer can chose the style and the material, can even have it made to measure, and usually have it delivered within a few days of ordering.

What could be better than that? We are very happy with our purchases from Raj and would highly recommend Raj Upholstery to anyone looking for quality furniture. The review above was written some time ago and we have now bought a three-seater and a two-seater settee, which, once again, we are very happy with in terms of quality and the service Raj gives; he always ensures that the customer is happy with the purchase and delivery arrangements.

It will be obvious, from the fact that we have purchased so many items of furniture over several years, that we are completely satisfied with the quality of the products and the service we have received and we have no hesitation in repeating our previous recommendation that anyone looking for quality furniture and service, should visit Raj Upholstery.

We had a sofa from Raj about 3 years ago and it still looks new and just as comfy! Raj is very professional and we would definitely use him again rather than the big highstreet chains- we found their sofas weren't as good quality!

This is an update re recent review, I noted towards the end of November that the leather chair was sagging in the seat and the back, the leather had ripples, I took a photo and shown Mr Raj, he said you get this with real leather live with it for say 6-12 months and he would reupholster it in my home. He told me when ordering that this was his best seller spring loaded with the best foam.

I sent recorded letter on the 30th November 2017 giving him 14 days requesting my money back in full. He rang me on 8th December saying that he had contacted the company in Italy and they would send a representative to look at the suite, he mentioned that he needed a refund from them in order to refund me but it may be after Christmas before it could be inspected.

On the 9th December I wrote to Mr Raj recorded, saying my contract is with him however in view of the Christmas period I would ext. to Sunday 7th January 2018. I have had no response now taking further action. Will keep you updated.

Fantastic service and a great experience. We had our furniture custom made by Raj over ten years ago and it is still in excellent condition. The cushion covers are removable and washable and as we chose two different fabrics for the sofa cushions ( so we have a different pattern either side) it means that we can swap them over at lib and have so many different variations. I am very happy to recommend Raj for anyone looking for the bespoke touch.
